Czech-German Future Fund is supporting a new project

The Czech-German Future Fund will support the project “Team Europa – entdecke das Nachbarland! / Tým Evropa – objev sousední zemi!” in the year 2021. We will organise a Czech-German youth camp in the project for 30 participants. The camp will focus on education and football. Furthermore, we plan to host a workshop on “Good practice and innovation in youth football and education”, once the pandemic is over. The workshop will welcome both, youth coaches and teachers.

Goethe-Institut: Hertha BSC hosting the European final of „1:0 für Deutsch“

The Czech and Lithuanian finalists of the school competition „1:0 für Deutsch“ visited Berlin this weekend. Next to tour to the historic sites of Berlin Mitte and the Berlin Wall the students visited Hertha Berlin to see their famous Academy and do a joint training session with young footballers from the project Kopfball and the girls‘ team of Hertha 03 Zehlendorf. The highlight of the day was to see the Bundesliga games Hertha BSC v 1899 Hoffenheim. The project „1:0 für Deutsch“ is organised by the Goethe Institutes in Prague and Vilnius every year and supported by Deutsch-Tschechischer Zukunftsfonds.

Vocational guidance with Team Europa (find your way)

Vocational guidance with Team Europa (find your way)

We would like to say thank you to all partners working with us on the project „find your way“ offering vocational guidance for young footballers. Boys aged 16-18 years from FK Usti nad Labem and Wiesla Hof/ATS Hof-West got the chance to visit companies in Germany and Czech Republic to study options for a further career there. In Germany Lamilux, REHAU AG+Co and NETZSCH offered us an insight into their company, in Czech Republic we visited Umbro Sports Creams and the hotel Vetruse. The employment agency Hof/Selb introduced the youngsters into further careers on both sides of the border. Many thanks to Deutsch-Tschechischer Zukunftsfonds and all partners helping to launch this pilot project!
