The Spanish Costa del Azahar, literally the Orange Blossom Coast, has more than 300 days of sunshine throughout the year. The long sandy beaches are ideal for a holiday on the Mediterranean Sea. Places to see are the historic centre of Valencia and L’Oceanogràfic, the largest aquarium in Europe. Football is very popular in this part of Spain, too, with Valencia CF and Villarreal CF being the two most prominent clubs in the area. Costa del Azahar has very good conditions for football tours and training camps. Teams may be accommodated either in tourist resorts or in more remote and quiet places, e.g. in small hotels or holiday homes on the sea-side.
